  1. What are d critarion for submission of stories? Can i later publish my story myself if it does not win in d contest?

    1. Yes, very much so. You CAN publish your story if they don’t accept it.
PS: It is not a contest! Just a call for Manuscripts 😉 Meaning they might be looking at a whole lot and accepting same. Best of luck.

    1. Sorry, I didn’t get back to you earlier. Now, I am not totally certain but African Writers’ Series seems to have published more fiction than non-fiction. In this wise, I think that fiction might serve better. Thanks.

        1. Letea, the offer was for the African Writers’ Series…and the email is there. IF however, at some point, you have short fiction or poetry that you think we can publish online and the like, you can send us an email at ‘’ … Do mention your name in the subject though..

How are you doing? Kind regards…

  2. Is there any guarantee to safeguard the publication of my book without my notice and making it your own?

    1. Hello Nuredeen, I cannot guarantee the safety of your work if submitted… Truth is we always do these things in faith and trust, believing for the best. 🙂

Would love to have your thoughts, please...
